Freddy is a sixth-year Ph.D. student in Structural Geology and Earth Resources Group. His research interest is focused on three-dimensional geometry, kinematics and dynamics of complex structures in both fold belts and extensional basins, using a variety of tools including 2-D and 3-D seismic data, remote sensing images and detailed field geologic information. He is working in different regions of the world including the Niger Delta, and northwestern South America. On his spare time he enjoys running, hiking, rock climbing, downhill skiing, and web design. Since one year he is doing an intership at Shell.
