The Structural Geology & Tectonics Program at Harvard is focussed on efforts to define the three dimensional architecture of complex structures through the integration of geological and geophysical data. Student projects generally involve 3D structural modeling, and the use of industry seismic reflection data, surface geology, and remote sensing imagery. Moreover, much of our research explores active fault systems, thus allowing seismologic, neotectonic, and geodetic information to constrain active deformation.
